The questions we are asked most often.
Four subjects account for most of our calls. We have written them up so that you have the answer in five minutes – rather than in a phone call for which you first have to reach somebody.
ÖbVI or consulting engineers – who may do what?
The most common question of all, and the one where most time is lost. The answer hangs on a single criterion: does the measurement have to have legal effect in the land cadastre?
Site plan for the building application: what you need.
The site plan is the document on which building applications most often get stuck – usually not because of the drawing but because details are missing that could have been there from the start.
Water rights application: procedure, documents, duration.
Anyone building on a watercourse needs a water rights permit. The application itself is craft – the duration usually arises elsewhere.
Setting out a building: procedure, visits, cost.
Setting out is the moment a drawing becomes a building in a particular place. It is not required by law – but the mistake it prevents is the most expensive one on the whole site.
